Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Angela Bassett, Ke Huy Quan, Colin Farrell, Jennifer Coolidge, Steven Spielberg, Michelle Yeoh, Julia Garner, Zendaya, Guillermo del Toro, Cate Blanchett e Austin Butler sono stati tra i vincitori individuali.
L’ottantesima edizione della cerimonia dei Golden Globe 2023 si è svolta al Beverly Hilton e trasmessa in diretta su NBC e Peacock. In conduzione Jerrod Carmichael. La trasmissione televisiva dei Golden Globes è tornata alla NBC. Dopo che la rete ha rifiutato di trasmetterla l’anno scorso sulla scia di una denuncia del Los Angeles Times nel 2021 secondo cui l’HFPA non conteneva etica e membri neri e si era impegnata in sospette pratiche finanziarie.
Ciò ha scatenato un boicottaggio da parte dell’industria dell’intrattenimento. E ha anche stimolato diverse riforme da parte dell’HFPA, tra cui il divieto ai membri di accettare regali e l’aggiunta di 103 elettori con sede a livello internazionale. L’HFPA è stata acquisita da Eldridge Industries e trasformata in un’entità a scopo di lucro. Ora ha un pool di voti composto per il 52% da donne e per il 51,5% da razzisti ed etnie diverse.
