The sequel to the inner world game , The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk is a point-and-click game created by Studio Fizbin and released in 2013 who bring us back to the Asposia terrain, looking for the ultimate Wind Monk. the one who can save the flute nose race and the Asposian World.

The game will be released on Steam, Playstation 4 and Xbox 360 starting on October 20, 2017, but project nerd have got the chance to test it and bring our sensations back after about 10 hours of gaming in the PC version.

Story :
I admit to having approached The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk without ever playing in the previous chapter, however, this did not affect the gaming experience in the negative, the plot continues from previous events by reintroducing the player with a quick and exhaustive recap enough to keep your background.

packshot_3d_foldoutThe bad guy in the game, Emil, is at the head of a political movement against flute nose, he think they are responsible for all the evils of Asposia and for this reason he wants to imprison them, similarities to Nazi Germany and Jewish deportations are many and not only at the level of history. but also at a graphic level with logos and characters that remind us of those of the time.

The plot is easy to follow, perhaps trivial for a mature audience, but it is a solid foundation for the adventures of the protagonists and fits perfectly with the game context.

Graphics & Sound:
The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk has a cartoon style not very colorful yet pleasing, perfect for point and click genre, environments are designed with care and lines decided so that they always show the paths to follow and objects to find.

Beautiful character designs that often look like the features of the character itself, I personally fell in love with the stupid guards that we will find here and on the screens.

Music is a fundamental part of the game, we will find to make several melodies to the protagonist Robert to interact with different objects and solve puzzles, fortunately the tired soundtrack does indeed go into the head and who does not say you could find yourself whistling song of the wind.

Gameplay:

By skipping the classic operation of a tip and clicking The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk differs for the ability to switch between the 3 cool characters, each of which can interact in a different way with the surrounding environment. For example, we can use the Peck pigeon to drop objects that Robert’s protagonist could not reach and that the volatile are too heavy to carry.

The puzzles are of a variety of nature and some have found them on average challenging, or rather at some point, the game did not seem very intuitive about being made by putting the key to the puzzles in really small details and difficult to find.

Fortunately, however, in the most difficult passages we find a system of aid management, which step by step will guide us to solve the problem from always far away and approaching as we ask for help, this makes the game available to the youngest and it can help us to cope with the difficulties in the aforementioned difficulties (I admit I used it in a particularly confused passage for the undersigned).

ch1_ls50_4kConclusions:

The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk is a far more than enough, with funny dialogues and crazy characters at the right angle, which can offer a fair level of challenge for the player without being too frustrating; provided you are prepared in cases of extreme need to resort to ‘help’.

If you love this kind of adventures deserves the purchase.
