Cosa possiamo aspettarci da The Conjuring: Per ordine del diavolo? Secondo lo sceneggiatore David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, qualcosa di completamente diverso.
I primi due film – entrambi diretti da James Wan – parlavano di case infestate. Ma il terzo, che verrà diretto dal regista Michael Chaves (ma sempre prodotto da Wan), si concentrerà su altre cose che si muovono nella notte.

Una delle paure e delle perplessità che molti fan della saga hanno espresso riguarda il nuovo regista. Chaves infatti viene dalla prova decisamente poco convincente de La Llorona e non è ritenuto da tutti all’altezza di passare al filone principale di questa saga, prendendo il posto del suo fondatore
